YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

The FBI National Academy Associates welcomed sixty students to the 21st Session of the FBINAA Youth Leadership Program held at the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Similar to the FBI National Academy Program , students came from all over the world, representing 37 US states, Greece, Latin America, Finland, Latin America, Canada and Africa. The week focused on core subject matter which included Leadership, Ethics, Values and Choices, Situational Leadership, Character Matters, Goal Setting, Managing Change, Ethical Decision

Making, Accountability, Social Media and Financial Responsibility. Students also visited the nation’s capital to visit many impactful museums and memorials including the U.S. Holocaust Museum, U.S. Marine Corp National Museum, the Fredericksburg Battlefield and Arlington National Ceremony. Each session is facilitated by FBINA graduates. Along with YLP Coordinator Bill Gardiner , each section is represented by two (2) counselors. Representing Section 1, Tim Gatley and Amy Bonney . Representing Section 2, Kelli Bailiff and Tom Krsnich . Representing Section 3, Terence Calloway and Julie Barry . Representing Section 4, Lene Bowers and James Rooney .

The first Youth Leadership Program took place in 1998 and as of 2019, 1,090 students have graduat- ed from the program.
