Hear the impact of the program from one of our recent participants:
“What you and the other instructors taught me in the class has truly changed my life in just two and half days. I woke up this morning and wished I was sitting with all of you again...
The first Youth Leadership Program took place in 1998 and as of 2018, 970 students have graduated from the program.
I then focused on the weather. It is raining and stormy today. I sat for a moment and took in the sounds. Normally this type of weather would put me in a bad mood, not anymore. I now look at life for the b lessings that it has to offer. The sounds, the landscape, people, and the vast opportunity it has to offer that I have missed for so many years.
58 STUDENTS 970 YLP GRADUATES 37.5 TRAINING HOURS 12.5 PT HOURS
In closing, I promise to take what I have learned and spread the message to family, friends, and the law enforcement community to help make a positive change in their life.”
